Our Founding Story
In 1987, CHIHON MACHINERY was born with a simple yet powerful vision: to redefine the automotive brake components industry. Founded by a passionate group of engineers and innovators, we started our journey in Taiwan, initially as a contract manufacturer, providing precision parts for other companies. Our goal was always clear – to deliver superior quality and performance in every product we manufactured.
As we honed our skills and expertise, we made the bold decision to transition from simple contract manufacturing to creating our own innovative solutions. This shift marked a turning point in our history, as we began to research and develop advanced slotted and drilling and techniques for brake components. This drive for innovation led us to file for new patents in Taiwan, China, and Japan, securing a total of 9 patents in the automotive brake industry. Today, we are proud to be recognized as a leader in the field, with a wealth of experience and a reputation for precision manufacturing.
Our early focus on innovation and quality allowed us to grow rapidly, and we quickly expanded beyond Taiwan, reaching global markets. Now, we are a trusted partner for OEMs and aftermarket customers across over 31 countries, solidifying our place as an industry leader.
